Rough-Fit History
Rough-it was built upon the foundation of science of what works for long lasting healthy living. Lindsey Coen-Fernandez was a lifelong avid athlete who got caught up in the milieu of the corporate world. After shedding nearly 30 lbs, Lindsey founded Rough-it to help others who struggle with work / life / health balance.
Her methodology of coaching is based on the principals of goal setting and behavior modification through small changes that ultimately yield long term life altering results.

Rough-Fit Tools and Methodologies
Rough-Fit uses those same principals in conjunction with its sister company WITH-U - Wellness in Total Health University. WITH-U provides a comprehensive automated wellness portal with goal setting tools and e-learning to help individuals reach their health and wellness objectives.
Our program supports ALL FITNESS LEVELS from beginners to marathon runners. In conjunction with our online e-learnings which provide education and motivational support, we provide workshops and incentive / intervention programs to help you stay focused throughout the year.

Five Steps to a Healthier U WITH-U
Step One:
Assess it!
Rough-Fit provides workshop assessments every 3 months or an online step by step video to help you perform a self assessment. Upload your before and after pictures and share your success with family and friends.
Document your results and watch the graphs to see how you improve.
Step Two:
Map it!
Determine your goals and engineer a plan to help you get to your desired outcome. Rough-Fit uses the WITH-U program of POG's (Possibilities, Opportunities and Goals). POG's are designed to help you make changes day by day, week by week, month by month. Motivational e-mails, graphs, charts and extensive reports give you live feedback of your progress.
Step Three:
Learn it!

Rough-Fit Team
The Rough-Fit WITH-U Team has over 40 years of combined business, wellness education, IT, marketing, sales and communications experience. The two premier fitness industry organizations, the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the American Council on Exercise (ACE), have recognized the the high quality and innovation of our programs - proof of our commitment to comprehensive wellness solutions.
Since its founding in 2002, Rough-Fit has helped create healthier communities by organizing and supporting local wellness events, forging relationships with businesses and government agencies to support regional parks and youth programs and by providing relief to tsunami victims and families impacted by HIV / AIDS in South Africa.
Our combined knowledge and skills as fitness educators and technology innovators and our experiences in helping build stronger business and community-based organizations has resulted in a state of the art wellness curriculum and automated wellness tool to enhance healthy living.

Qualifications
Rough-Fit WITH-U has worked with educational, corporate and government agencies to implement large scale wellness projects.
All team members have college degrees:
- two hold Masters Degrees in Health and Wellness Promotion;
- one a Ph.D. in Psychology;
- one a Masters in Business;
- two Communications experts;
- and an IT Specialist.
