We strive to build a program of the highest quality that uses the latest research to safely and efficiently progress people of all levels and personalities to optimal levels of health and fitness. RoughFit will work to accomplish this by providing a creative variety of workout styles and classes that makes exercise enjoyable, offering extra opportunities for challenge and growth, and building a team of elite instructors who are passionate about health and fitness, and desire to help make a difference in people's lives.

In addition, RoughFit's goal is to build a supportive and positive community through our classes and events that values respect, integrity, passion, commitment, and compassion.

Jenni Johnson - Owner

Jenni Johnson, is a Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Performance Enhancement Specialist through NASM. She also has her BS in Kinesiology and MS in Exercise Science and Health Promotion. Jenni lives and breathes her passion for health and fitness every day. She is an Olympic Trials hopeful at the marathon distance (current marathon PR: 2:49:08) and her dedication is a constant inspiration.

Jenni is constantly increasing her knowledge and staying up to date on the latest exercise research. She brings an amazing positive energy to everything she does and her enthusiasm for physical fitness and health always shines through.

GREG MOE - OWNER

Greg Moe, is an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and is currently working towards becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy. He has been a personal trainer and coach for over a decade and his passion for health and fitness pushes him to constantly learn more about the human body and how it works.

As an athlete, Greg was a competitive collegiate lightweight rower and has been a member of Team USA as an amateur triathlete, and has competed in multiple World Championship Triathlons at various distances from Sprint to Half-Ironman.

Greg believes that enjoying what you do is one of the most important things, and loves pushing people to try new activities in hopes of uncovering hidden talents and passion.

Suzanne Kiyomura - Yoga Instructor

Suzanne Kiyomura has been practicing yoga for over twelve years. Her personal practice includes study in Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Iyengar forms of yoga.

As an instructor, her classes focus on connecting breath with movement creating a flowing practice accessible yet challenging for all levels. Suzanne is a registered yoga instructor with the Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level having received her teacher training instruction from True Flow Yoga, Tim Miller (Ashtanga Primary Series), and Yoga Works.

Credentials: RYT 200, BA

Tammy Zwolinski - Bootcamp Instructor

Tammy Zwolinski has her Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist certifications through NASM. A trainer for 6 years, Tammy has a passion for helping people reach their fitness goals, and as a marathon runner, she knows what hard work and dedication can do for the mind and soul.

Tammy believes in functional fitness and in pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. In true RoughFit form, she loves to have a diverse workout and keep the class working hard throughout the entire period.

Ashlyn Medina - yoga instructor

Ashlyn Medina is a 200 hour Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Instructor. Touched by all aspects of the yoga practice, from its physical benefits to its philosophy, Ashlyn is devoted to sharing it with others. 

Ashlyn enjoys exploring different styles--Iyengar, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin-- in her personal practice as well as in her classes. She believes practicing mindfulness, breathing, and patience on your yoga mat, will help you feel more grounded and joyful in everyday life. Whether she is teaching new students or life-long yogis, she is committed to creating a safe space for people to find strength and balance.

Matthew Aguirre - BootCamp Instructor

Matthew Aguirre is a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM and looks to be a Nutrition Fitness Specialist in the near future.  He has competed in multiple triathlons at all distances at a high level and loves anything endurance/sport related.

His approach is very diverse so clients can strive to be well rounded athletes. He is inspired by clients who work hard and accomplish goals they never thought they could and loves to help them reach those goals by pushing them to that next level. Matthew's active lifestyle is his passion and his two daughters (Alana and Brooklyn) are his driving force to be the best he can be.

Kelsey Barritt - yoga Instructor

Kelsey Barritt is a 200 hour True Flow trained yoga instructor from Orange. She has been with RoughFit almost two years now, teaching Vinyasa Flow and Gentle Stretch. Kelsey loves to focus on the smooth flow with breath during her classes, incorporating balancing poses for an extra challenge. She makes sure that all of her classes can be modified for a beginner or advanced yogi. She is so appreciative of her regulars that have been with her since day one, and hopes to find some more!
